Hey guys, I haven't been here for a while but I'm hopefully going to be making a comeback with new GothicFall material. I guess one could say I have been taking a bit of a sabbatical from my hobby (art) to concentrate on my day-job :) Anyway, there is some cool news, which is that my GothicFall book is now available IN ENGLISH!!! (The previous version was just available in Spanish). As some of you may have seen from my latest deviation, my Gothic Fall book has now been published! The book features 48 pages of my artwork, and comes in a beautiful hardbound cover. The book includes several 'never-before-seen' paintings. This version is in SPANISH, I’m working on getting an English version published but that may take a little while. But the pretty pictures really are the main focus of the book, the text is just an accompaniment, and there are translations available on my website. I haven't updated this journal since February. However, I feel that 2008 has been one of the most interesting years of my life so far. I have been to so many places and met so many new people, I really hope that this continues. I'm always busy and I need a holiday!! Over the summer I attended lots of conferences and meetings for work. I'm now working as a full time research scientist, studying several areas, but I'm mainly interested in experimental realizations of quantum computers. I hope to realize my dream of one day helping to build and develop this type of machine. So far this year I've been to Amsterdam, Leiden, Jena, Ilmenau, Vancouv
