Number 2 in the series. Pronounced 'Ver-day-en-nee'.
She's less fond of the human form than Onnyx, hence her slightly more translucent, undefined appearance. She will often float between forms, or enjoy the camoflage of absolute stillness beneath a cloak of leafy velvet. She tends to shy away from others, preferring to be alone, or with plants and animals for company. She holds special powers over the natural world (animal empathy, for example, and the instinctive ability to nurture plants and use their products for her spells). She is rarely heard to speak, and is known to use her spells as curses and poisons, occasionally leaving them as irresistible bait for unsuspecting humans. Approx. 20 hours from scratch (fully digital painting - no ref / stock / manip) in Photoshop 7 with the aid of my trusty Wacom Intuos 3 tablet. Comments appreciated - Enjoy!
