Obsession

Ne'er to be an angel myself
Catching the plumes of those who fall
Secretly pile them into my shrine

No mortal eye may see such wings
Nor see my finery; my full attire
Sewn from castaway pieces of you

My dance, a solitary masquerade
Your heaven I vow not disturb
I smell you everywhere, familiar scent

Appearing as a goddess; let them believe
That I am not so weak, nor small
Sing to myself, as madness descends

And I dance, and I smile, amidst
These falling feathers...

I much prefer this version. Her obsession is now directed, in the original she just appeared somewhat...distracted.

This image will be included in the Gothic Fall artbook, to be published later this year :)

I never disappoint at you. : ) This piece turned out wonderful again. I like the shine effects and that cross is very well drawn. : )

Very beautiful work, as always! I love the colours, especially, the feathers. The skintone is wonderful too, and very soft looking. Great composition :)
