She's my version of an angel anyway.

I thought to myself - I have never drawn a proper angel before, so I decided to attempt this task. And I thought if I'm going to do it, I'll do it properly, with nice feathery wings etc. Also the GF series is proving quite popular and needs a new addition :)
Its not quite finished; some parts I have not given the attention they deserve. I will probably come back to this to finish it off at a later date - its as good as finished I guess.

Fully digital painting,
Done from scratch in Photoshop 7, took many hours :S Goodness me - the original was over 7500px wide... its at least a 10th of that now in this jpeg version! I may post closeups as most of the detail is lost. The wings especially took quite a long time to paint, with the amount of detailing on each feather....

Once again apologies for watermarking.

Love the dress and the wings! Maybe the feet look a little bit weird, but I really like it, nice job!

I caught this on recent deviations and it's stunning!
You might want to include some photobucket links of some detail shots maybe? My friend does that.
