Some people mentioned that they's like to see some traditional art from me. So I've been trying out some more trad techniques for 2009. I also like to have originals :D

This took about 6 hours. Used a selection of pencils from 6B to 4H, an electrical eraser and a smudge pencil. Unfortuantely I didn't do it on very good paper. I do have some nice Bristol Board but I started in in my sketchbook, so alas there it remained.

I added the slight sepia colour digitally, just to get rid of the bright white.

Yeah, the eraser is really cool. It's like a mechanical eraser (one that you click the end to push the eraser through) except it has batteries and you press a button and it spins the eraser round fast - it's really precise and doesn't smudge or mess up your picture :) Everyone laughed at me when I bought one and was really excited about it. Great for precision pencil art though!
