PhD and GF Book

Welcome to the latest installation of my journal. Its more of an artwork journal than any kind of blog. I specialise in fantasy artwork: Dragons, beasts, elves, long skirts, flowing garments, corsets, bondage art, sci-fi, technogeek, industrial & cyberpunk art, and all gothic things pretty and occasionally unpretty. I do most sincerely hope you enjoy reading about my artistic turmoils and triumphs here.



Hello everyone, I hope that you are all well.

Good news - I have finished my PhD, so now I just have the final exam (viva/interview) and assuming that everything goes well with that, then I will graduate as a doctor this summer. Yey!

I have started my new job too (which is very similar to the work I was doing for my PhD) and I am settling into that, so I should have more time for art now :) - I have quite a few commissions to deal with at the moment!

Other news - I am in the process of compiling a GOTHIC FALL ART BOOK - which is the reason why I have not been offering the latest pictures as prints, they will soon be under copyright by my publisher, NORMA editorial, who have published people such as Victoria Frances and Luis Royo. The book will not be available for a while yet, but I will be posting updates on the progress both here and on my art journal [link]

The book will consist of 48 pages of my art and writings/poems, including some never-before seen work and improved versions of many of the pieces I have posted here.

I hope that some people will be interested in the book :D

Until then I hope that people enjoy the new pictures I will be posting here on DA!

Your gallery is really inspiring. I think it gives needed inspiration and strengh to many people like me, who are not artists by profession, to continue their strive when they are close to give up. Then, I'm very happy your book will appear in print soon. Good luck!
